For someone who is food ADD like myself, it was hard to pick one thing I wanted to try. Everything looked so delicious and smelled wonderful my senses were on edge. Finally after 15 minutes of going back and fourth and one amazingly patient waitress later. It was decided that the Eggs Benedict was what I had a hankering for. Two poached eggs with Canadian bacon on a toasted English muffin topped with hollandaise sauce and served with your choice of grits, fruit or hash browns. It hit the spot. Plated it looked like every foodies dream when trying to capture that awesome picture. After taking a few selfies with my Eggs Benedict, almost too perfect to eat…..almost!
My friend decided on the biscuit and gravy omelet. With three eggs stuffed with buttermilk biscuit, Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese then smothered in their homemade sausage gravy, which is made on their grill. I was informed this is what they were famous for, and rightly so. They earned that tag line. I politely retracted my fork from my friends plate. While I understand sharing is caring, it was polite to allow her to enjoy what she ordered. In fairness I did allow her one bite of mine. I am still learning this sharing concept as it pertains to food.
What compliments this meal? The very berry crepe. With the fresh colors as they popped out and gracefully drizzled in berry glaze. My eyes were dancing with joy and my tastebuds were ready to take off. Fresh strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries and glazed with that homemade berry glaze. OH my goodness.
A must try and I promise it won’t disappoint. The prices are reasonable for what you get. I really enjoyed everything about my experience.
