Mary’s Mediterranean is very healthy, for me anyway. I love how it complimented my pseudo whole30 diet. I have cheat days, because I love wine and cake. Ha ok…onwards. Arriving and walking in I was taking in the ambiance of the decor. Trendy meets fen shui with splashes of orange all around. My eyes really took it all in and enjoyed it. What was more impressive was how immaculate the restaurant was. I arrived when it was the lunch rush and the food area was so clean and neat. That really impressed me.
The menu was simple and neat. The food screamed fresh and healthy. It was a fabulous mediterranean combo. As tantalizing as everything seemed for my eyes I decided to design my own plate.
I had Mary’s Gyro’s meat. With the side of roasted cauliflower and greek salad. It was so good, I was really impressed with the roasted cauliflower. I have never had that before. Every time I have attempted to make it, it’s mush and charred.
Due to being on the whole30 at the time I was unable to partake in a rendezvous with the baklava.
Ohh it would have been my mediterranean lover. So flaky, fresh, melting in my mouth and the sweet taste of cinnamon and honey dancing as the flavors delighted my tastebuds, all cozied up with crushed pistachios as if to tease the senses once more. Ohh I love mediterranean food and the desserts. Mary’s makes it fresh and the presentation is five star.
The food is made fresh daily. So many food options to create your own plate, an array of salads and veggies to choose from along with dips, fresh pita wrap sandwiches, fresh meats and the special meat of the day. Prices are ridiculously affordable for the quality and great taste you are getting. Located on Market street plaza, in Frisco, Texas.
