Nerdvana getting nerdy is a family affair. Recently my family and I went to Nerdvana. I went to their coffee shop a few months back and I loved it. Its a board game utopia. So I decided to try it out. Nerdvana is a trendy restaurant that appeals to both the child at heart with a 21 and over thirst as well as the actual child. With video games at certain booths and a new kid menu. When we arrived it was very busy due to the Mayor of Frisco, Texas results coming in that night. Despite being busier than usual service was to be expected. My kids enjoyed playing Zelda and I enjoyed sipping my amazing adult beverage. If I was kidless I would have more than one.
My youngest was tasked to try the kids menu. Naturally he gravitated toward the steak on the menu. Being 6 years old, a boy and always having a ravenous appetite. The kids portion for him did not satisfy him. My 12 year old who has been eating off the adult menu since he was 5 loved the bacon burger and we actually had to take 1/2 of it home because he could not finish it. Go figure.
Nerdvana is located off Main Street in Frisco. The fare is American dining with a pocket protector sized emphasis to get your nerd ON with its video game culture, dining, latest on e-sports and craft beers and amazing cocktails.
My kids are eagerly waiting to go back on our next family night out. I think I will try their brunch menu the next time. I really enjoyed myself and the company of my family. Its a perfect locally owned placed and I will be back again.
