Rockfish Seafood & Grill

We had the opportunity to try out Rockfish Seafood & Grill; Frisco, TX . The food was  fantastic. Freshly plated and presentation was on point. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and couldn’t be any nicer. The GM was extraordinary and every brought a live crawfish to our table. My children wanted it as a pet and I wanted to dip it in butter. The food was delicious. What I liked besides the food. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. I liked that part of the menu was on a chalkboard. I liked that it was a family restaurant and had accommodations for children. I also liked it could be a date night, Mom’s night or family night. It was really casual but fancy on taste. I was sincerely impressed by the menu prices and the quality of food, coupled with the customer service.

I had to ask our waiter if he was the undercover boss, he was over the top fabulous. For the record he didn’t know that I was a food blogger or that I was trying Rockfish Seafood & Grill; Frisco, TX  . All he knew was that this was our first time and he wanted to make this dining experience wonderful. Which he did.

Being new to Texas and not knowing where to go for seafood. I found my go to spot for seafood and land items as well. Very affordable so ditch the sitter and bring the kids. You won’t be disappointed.

We started off trying the crawfish. My son was very pensive with opening his. HE LOVED it. We had to fight for them.

Next we had the Ahi Tuna Nachos. With seared blackened tuna with fresh avocado, mango salsa drizzled in wasabi aioli on a mixed bed of both wontons and cucumbers. Again my youngest was amusing his pallet.

It was so beautifully plated and I as in love. This is something I would totally get again and not share with my child.

My husband had the Gulf Redfish Etouffee. This was blackened and topped with crawfish etouffee. Served on a bed of white rice with rockin’ green beans. It was delicious.

I had a  chef inspired dish. It was a delicious spicy yet tangy sauce. It was mahi mahi plated with rice and snap peas. OH it was spectacular.

My middle son was so adventurous and had a burger with fries. That child of mine. He said it was fantastic. Leave it to my son to go to a seafood place to order a burger and fries. Seems unethical to me!
