Last night my husband and I had the opportunity to dine at eight l 11 place place here in Frisco, Texas. I thought it was this little quaint place that I would take my girlfriends to. Turns out this is a great place for all occasions. I am also going to be taking my boys. With desserts right in front of you and chef specialities. I had the best dining experience and guess what; so did my husband. He wants to go back.
The ambiance of it all is so relaxing. Coming from Southern California it kind of gave me that Irvine/Newport feel. The live music, the lights, decor and customer service, AND free valet! I think I found my new happy place. This is all before I even dive into the food.
I had the lemonade mimosa. Which is champagne with lemonade with sugar and candied rim. Bound to make you a sweet talker. At least that is what my Hubby said after a few sips!
My husband was enjoying the craft beers on draft. I am not a beer person but my husband is and he was delighted.
The bartenders really keep you well hydrated with their array of speciality beverages both for the those wanting to enjoy an adult beverage or who like to keep it PG with an array of other drinks as well. You can have your fancy on water on the rocks too! 
We were anything but bored with our tastebuds. We had The Board. eight l 11 has gulten free crackers available upon request. Another winner for my husband. This was served with an assortment of cheeses and charcuterie, olives, candied nuts, fresh fruit, honey, fig jam, toasted baguette and crackers.
Next I had to try the Smoked Salmon Board. With smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers with arugula served with toasted french baguette slices. Oh my dear this will hook you in.
We were getting full however eight l 11 place “Made us an offer we couldn’t refuse.” We had the GodFather Artisan Style pizza. Personally delivered by the Chef. I thought we were the VIP or something. Turns out we all are. Every single person who dines at eight I 11 is a VIP.
The GodFather is topped with prosciutto, salami, pepperoni, truffle oil, banana peppers, fresh rosemary and mozzarella cheese. Come on you know you want a piece of this pie! The picture doesn’t even do it justice. 
Next we were surprised with a refreshing cup of seasonal fruit. It paired perfectly with my better half. Oh I am not talking about my husband!
I am talking about my Sauvignon Blanc from NZ. Normally I am a Cali type of girl when it comes to my wines. However it was my “Better Half” and yes that is the name of that wine.
Not blowing smoke in your face but this was so cool. eight I 11 went out of their way. With a Fireside S’more board. Served at fire pit seating.
We are talking about Milk Chocolate, Fluffy marshmallows and graham crackers. I am going to take my boys. They would love this and its a family friendly.
