At Big Beat Dallas I had the opportunity to speak with; Robert Madrid the Director of Culinary operations and Chef AJ Executive Sous Chef.
Big Beat Dallas is a multi restaurant and entertainment venue. Billy Bob Barnett had this vision over a decade ago. The concept is easy and very innovative. The vision was building concept, brands and programing live entertainment. The designer is Stacey Yarbrough. The dream; to capture the era of each concept. The Americana/ Texas culture the 1930/1960’s. At Highway 61 there is blues very night with traditional Texas BBQ and hand crafted burgers. Billy Bob’s market place is a retail store. Bar Maniza is a pacific coastal beach town. It is to capture the Texas politicians that built around them. The latin inspired cocktails and ceviche is out of this world. With classic new style tacos and they also serve vegetarian options as well.
La Plaza offers live entertainment. Food and retail kiosks are 7 days a week. 6am – 2pm Thursday – Saturday is a farmers market. Texas Jam House is open 24/7. C- Bar has a scotch bar and cigars which is second to none. With an enclosed patio that can open or close due to weather. Martini Ranch is capturing the spirit of Texas. With its deep rich blue and red fur. With a mixologist and Pit paster what more could you ask for?
The idea; farm to table. Their brisket is in a smoker and they bbq steaks in the c-bar and the flank steaks. Marshall’s for prime grated steer. Marshall is Wynona Winters grandson.
We had the opportunity to come down and visit Big Beat Texas. We went on Easter which was April 1st. They even had the Easter Bunny show up and you could take some pictures. It was a great family day. Ya’ll should check it out. Wonderful place for a date night, going solo, family day or just meeting friends. This has something for everyone.
